How I Learned to French Braid Hair

I have long and super thick hair. Honestly french braiding my hair is one of the easiest and fastest hairstyles for me to do. Most of the time I do it without a mirror within a few minutes. My friends are always like, “Your hair looks so cute like that I wish I could just throw mine up and do it anywhere.” Well now I am sharing my secrets. One of the first secrets is it is going to take time. You are going to get frustrated, but once you get it you can literally fly through it.

My other secret is…

This picture.

This is basically what taught me to french braid.

I didn’t know about this video but it is where the picture came from, but I’m sure it would have helped just as much as the picture did.

  1. Excellent tutorial, Emily. This reminds me of being a little girl and my old cousin would French braid my hair and her sisters. I loved it! Special memories.

I came over from Blogging Day. If you would like to join a link party to network, I co-host one with several other bloggers. It’s Thursday Favorite Things. Each week, we choose our favorites to feature. My features are always around home decor and entertaining because that’s what I blog about. The other hostesses choose a variety of topics to feature, including recipes and fashion. We do have a large number of blog readers who come through just to read the blogs too.

    Have a great weekend,
    Olivia
